If your CLWHost Unturned server crashes or fails to start after adding Workshop mods, the most likely cause is a broken, incompatible or missing mod dependency.
Open the console in your CLWHost Wisp game panel and look for errors.
Common messages include:
Workshop download failed
Missing dependency
Failed to load map
Asset conflict
Exception
The newest error near the bottom of the console is usually the most useful.
If the server worked before adding a mod, remove the most recent mod first.
If you added several mods at once, test them one by one.
This makes it much easier to find the mod causing the problem.
Some Workshop mods require other Workshop items to be installed.
Check the Workshop page for required items and add those IDs too.
Some mods may be outdated or not compatible with the current Unturned server version.
Check:
If you added a Workshop map, make sure Commands.dat uses the actual map name, not the Workshop ID.
Wrong:
Map 1234567890
Correct example:
Map Elver
The CLWHost Unturned egg includes Rocket.Unturned. If the crash started after adding a Rocket plugin, remove the newest plugin and restart the server.
Do not mix plugin frameworks unless you are sure they are compatible.
CLWHost handles the Steam game server token in our customised Unturned egg. You do not need to create or upload your own GSLT token.
If the server save has been damaged or important files were changed, restore a backup.
