If your Unturned Workshop mods or maps are not downloading, this guide covers the most common causes.
CLWHost handles the Steam game server token in our customised Unturned egg. You do not need to create or upload your own GSLT token for Workshop downloads or public listing.
Make sure you copied only the numeric Workshop ID.
Example URL:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1234567890
Correct Workshop ID:
1234567890
Do not include the full URL unless your panel specifically asks for it.
Private, hidden or removed Workshop items may not download correctly on a dedicated server.
Open the Workshop page in a browser and make sure it loads normally.
Some mods and maps require other Workshop items to be installed as dependencies.
Check the Workshop page description for required items and add those IDs too.
Workshop IDs need to be placed in the correct Workshop download configuration/files for your server.
If your panel does not show a clear Workshop field, contact CLWHost support and we can point you to the correct file/location for your server.
After changing Workshop settings, stop the server completely and start it again.
A soft restart may not always trigger a fresh download.
Look for errors such as:
Workshop download failed
Item not found
Missing dependency
Failed to load map
The console message usually gives the best clue.
For Workshop maps, the Workshop ID downloads the map, but the Map line in Commands.dat must use the map name.
Wrong:
Map 1234567890
Correct example:
Map Elver
If you added several mods at once, remove them and test one at a time. This makes it easier to find the broken or incompatible mod.
Some Workshop items may be outdated or incompatible with the latest Unturned server version.
Check the Workshop comments, update date and description.
